Lisbon is the capital of Portugal and the second oldest European capital, just after Athens. Located at the foot of the Tagus River, Lisbon distinguishes itself not only by the numerous attractions included in the World Heritage List of UNESCO – a true feast for explorers, but also because of the stylistic variety of the zones that make up the city. This variety marks , on the one hand , the Epoch of the Discoveries and, on the other hand, the modernity and contemporaneity of a capital that is in perpetual transformation.
